📦 What It Is

A plugin for Godot 4.4+ that allows you to:

  • Create Texture2DArray resources without writing code
  • Batch resize and process images directly inside the Godot editor

🎯 Why It Was Created

The project was designed to:

  • Simplify working with texture arrays in Godot
  • Replace external tools like ImageMagick
  • Speed up workflow by keeping everything inside the editor

⚙️ How It Works

The plugin adds two main tools to the Godot editor:

  • Texture2DArray Generator – lets you select images, set format, name, and location, then generates a .tres resource
  • Image Resizer – batch resizes images with options like Stretch, Pad, Crop, filtering, mipmaps, and format conversion (PNG, JPG, WebP)

Additional features:

  • Transfer file lists between tools
  • Prevent overwriting existing files
  • Auto-create subfolders and filenames
