SPINE ASSETS 3D

This category is intended for Spine assets that can be embedded in a three-dimensional scene and still look good. Although the excellent tool for skeletal and mesh animation, Spine, is designed for creating 2D and 2.5D animations, with the right application, certain objects such as grass, shop displays, and distant backgrounds can be easily embedded in 3D space.
What are the advantages of this solution? Well, 2D animations are created much faster than 3D objects and animations. Especially today, when some graphics can be prepared very quickly using quite good AI tools like Midjourney or Flux - slicing images into elements layered onto a skeleton (in an external graphic program such as Clip Paint Studio, Photoshop, or Gimp), improving artifacts (such as unnecessary fingers), planning skins and realistically, or plastically and cartoonishly looking animations (please note that the Spine runtime version for Godot automatically calculates transitions between one skeleton state and another, which can save the animator a lot of time).
