Evercade – The retro console that found its place

Launched in 2020, the Evercade console - designed for playing licensed retro games - was initially seen as either the idea of a madman or a genius. Time has shown that the creators correctly identified the trends and needs of gamers seeking legal, physical access to classic titles.

The console has seen several iterations, both portable and home-based:

Evercade VS

The first home console version, introduced in November 2021, allowing two-player gameplay and support for two cartridges simultaneously.
Evercade EXP - A new handheld version that debuted in December 2022. It introduced features like TATE mode (for vertical games), built-in Capcom titles, and a more modern design.

Evercade EXP-R and VS-R

Refreshed models unveiled in April 2024, offering a simplified look, the new Giga Cart cartridge system, and a lower price point.

Evercade EXP-R (Light)

A lighter-colored version of the EXP-R console, released in 2025. It retains the functionality of the EXP-R but stands out with its brighter casing.
